The video sculpture my german uniform embodies a media army of nowadays. 13 video loops show 13 boys (from english speaking countries) presenting their german military or SS uniform (World War 2) to the audience of the world wide web. The loops focus on the offensive media staging of the protagonists, with special regard on their fascination for the embodiment of power.
my german uniform confronts the viewer with a medial myth of power and offers a view into the insight of private space of those children, who consciously want us to participate in their devotion. It remains unclearly what happens beyond their four walls.
